  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk Use at room temperature for best results.
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
Cooking
  1. Lightly grease the waffle iron if needed. Pour about 1/2 to 2/3 cup of batter into the preheated iron.

  3. Carefully remove the waffles and serve hot with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For perfect waffles, ensure accurate measurements and avoid opening the waffle iron before the cooking time is up. Store leftovers in an airtight container, or freeze for longer storage.
