  1. In a medium-sized bowl, add 1 cup of mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of pickle relish.
  2. Add 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the mixture.
  3. Stir all the ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste, giving it that extra kick!
  5. Pop your tartar sauce in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together beautifully.
  6. Serve it up alongside your favorite fried or grilled seafood dishes!

For a healthier version, opt for Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. Make your tartar sauce a few hours ahead of serving to enhance the flavors. Don't skip the lemon juice; it balances the richness of the mayonnaise. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
