Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons) Fresh juice is key for the best taste.
  • 1 cup granulated sugar Adjustable based on sweetness preference; alternatives include honey or agave syrup.
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes Add just before serving.
  • Lemon slices and mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Place the halved strawberries in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove the seeds. Set aside.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Pour in the strawberry puree and cold water. Mix well until everything is combined.
  4. Taste your lemonade and add more sugar or water if desired.
  5. Refrigerate the lemonade for at least an hour. Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if you like!

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Avoid adding ice to the pitcher until ready to serve to maintain freshness.
