Ingredients

For the Spring Rolls
  • 10 sheets Rice paper wrappers
  • 1 cup Cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup Bell pepper, finely sliced You can mix colors for visual appeal
  • ½ cup Green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup Vermicelli noodles, cooked Optional
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce For flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 pinch Salt To taste
  • 1 handful Fresh herbs (e.g., mint, cilantro), chopped For added freshness

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, sliced bell pepper, and green onions. Add the cooked vermicelli (if using), soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and chopped herbs. Mix well to incorporate all flavors.
  2. Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the water for about 10–15 seconds until softened. Remove and lay it flat on a clean surface.
  3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling mixture in the center of the wrapper.
  4. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll it away from you to form a tight cylinder.
  5. Continue this process with the remaining wrappers and filling mixture.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly spray or brush the spring rolls with oil and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Air fry for about 10–15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Serving
  1. Enjoy your homemade spring rolls with your preferred dipping sauce—soy sauce, peanut sauce, or sweet chili sauce work great!

Notes

Have all your fillings prepped and ready to go. Don’t overstuff the wrappers; check air fryer settings as performance can vary. Serve immediately after air frying for maximum crispiness.
