  • 2 tablespoons black tea leaves Alternatively, you can use 2 tea bags.
Floral Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup dried rose petals Make sure they are food grade.
Milk and Sweetener

  • 2-4 tablespoons sugar Adjust to taste; honey or stevia can be substituted.
Extras
  • as needed ice Optional for serving.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by bringing 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot over medium heat.
  2. Once the water is boiling, add the black tea leaves or tea bags. Allow it to steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  3. Stir in the dried rose petals and let steep for another 2-3 minutes to infuse flavor.
  4. After steeping, carefully strain the tea mixture into a new pot or teapot, removing any tea leaves and rose petals.
  5. Add sugar to the strained tea and stir until well dissolved. Adjust sweetness to your liking.
  6. Gradually add the milk to the tea mixture and stir. If you like it chilled, allow it to cool before adding ice.
  7. Pour into cups, garnish with additional rose petals if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the refrigerator. Reheat gently—avoid boiling.
