Fillings
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or a Halal-friendly alternative
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices substitute with turkey pepperoni or veggie options
Additional Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for brushing
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning for added flavor

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  3. Spread an even layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border along the edges.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by a generous layer of pepperoni slices.
  5. Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a tight log and seal the edges well.
  6. Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled dough into bite-sized pieces, about 1 to 2 inches thick.
  7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they have enough space to expand.
  8. Lightly brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Once baked, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
  3. Serve hot, paired with extra tomato sauce for dipping.
