  1. Gather all your ingredients and tools: a mixing bowl, a spatula, and a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir with a spatula until creamy and smooth.
  3. Gradually add the rolled oats and a pinch of salt, stirring until a thick, sticky mixture forms.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  5. Use your hands to form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten slightly if desired.
  6. Chill the bites in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm them up.
