Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- If using refrigerated pizza dough, let it come to room temperature for about 20 minutes.
- On a floured surface, stretch or roll the pizza dough into a rectangle, approximately 12x8 inches.
- Slice the dough into strips, about 1-inch wide.
- Take each strip, tie it into a knot, tucking the ends underneath, and place on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Making Garlic Butter
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.
Baking
- Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and optional grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve warm or allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use fresh garlic for best flavor. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 days or freeze for up to one month.
