- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a medium-sized pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
- Stir in the rinsed rice into the pot and toast for 1-2 minutes.
- Pour in the water or chicken broth, season with salt, and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 18 minutes.
- Fluff the rice with a fork, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. Reheat with a splash of water to keep moist.
