Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 2 cups fruit juice (e.g., orange juice, apple juice) Freshly squeezed is ideal.
  • 1 cup water
  • to taste sweetener (e.g., honey, sugar, agave syrup) Adjust sweetness to your liking.
Optional Additions
  • as desired fresh fruit pieces Add your favorite fruits for extra flavor.
  • as desired coconut water For extra hydration.
  • as desired yogurt For a creamier texture.

Method

Preparation
  1. Choose your favorite fruit juice. Freshly squeezed is ideal, but bottled juice works fine too.
  2. In a bowl, combine the fruit juice and water. Adjust the sweetness by adding honey, sugar, or agave syrup to taste. Stir well until everything is well-blended.
  3. If you’d like to incorporate some freshness, chop your favorite fruits into small pieces and add them to the mixture.
  4. Carefully pour the mixture into your freezer pop molds, leaving some space at the top for expansion as they freeze.
  5. If using molds that require sticks, insert them into the mixture before freezing.
Freezing
  1. Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze for about 4-6 hours, or until completely solid.
  2. To release the pops, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds, then gently pull them out.
  3. Savor your Homemade Freezer Pops.

Notes

Wrap molds in plastic wrap or store in an airtight container to keep them fresh. They can be stored for up to two months in the freezer. Let them sit at room temperature for a few minutes before enjoying again.
