  • 4 large carrots, peeled and cut into thin fry shapes Opt for fresh, bright, and firm carrots.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Feel free to swap for other spices.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Can be substituted with other spices.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into strips resembling fry shapes, aiming for about 1/4 inch thickness.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the carrot strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the seasoned carrot fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  2. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

  1. Serve with your favorite dips or as a delightful side dish.

Notes

For leftover fries, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage. Reheat in a 400°F (200°C) oven for about 10 minutes.
