Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Additional Seasonings
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (make sure it’s halal)
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and ketchup—this will be your creamy base.
  2. Add the paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to the bowl. Stir to combine.
  3. If using Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce, add them now and stir until well combined.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust according to preference.
  5. Give it a final stir and let the sauce sit for about 15 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. Explore adding spices or herbs like cayenne pepper or fresh chives for extra kick. Store in an airtight container; lasts up to a week in the fridge or 2-3 months in the freezer.
