  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey Use either based on preference.
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted Ensure it's fully melted.
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Pinch salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather Your Ingredients: Start by measuring out all of your ingredients to make the process easier.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the melted coconut oil, almond butter, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract. Whisk them together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Slowly add the almond flour and a pinch of salt to the wet mixture. Stir well until everything is combined and you have a dough-like texture.
  4. Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the dark chocolate chips to get that decadent taste.
  5. Spread the Mixture: Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal. Spread the cookie dough mixture evenly in the dish. You can use a spatula to ensure it’s smooth on top.
  6. Chill: Place the baking dish in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the bark to set properly.
  7. Slice and Serve: Once set, remove it from the dish, slice into squares or break it into pieces, and enjoy your Healthy Cookie Dough Bark!

Notes

For substitutions, use another nut flour if almond flour is not available. Longer chilling time enhances flavor and texture. Ensure coconut oil is fully melted to avoid lumps. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for longer storage.
