Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure your brownies bake evenly.
- Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the two ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add the unsweetened applesauce, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the oat flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Pour the dry mixture into the wet ingredients gradually, stirring gently until just combined.
- Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Cut into squares and enjoy!
Notes
