Ingredients
  

Jello Mixtures
  • 1 cup green jello (lime flavor)
  • 1 cup red jello (cherry flavor)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup vodka (or non-alcoholic substitutes) Use non-alcoholic options for younger guests.
Garnishes and Serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Begin by boiling 2 cups of water in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, pour one cup of water over the green jello powder; stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Repeat this step separately for the red jello powder.
Combine and Cool
  1. Once the jello is well mixed, stir in 1 cup of vodka into each jello mixture.
  2. Let both mixtures cool slightly.
Layering
  1. Using a spoon or turkey baster, fill the bottom half of the plastic shot glasses with the green jello mixture. Fill them about half full.
  2. Place them in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes, until firm.
Add the Pupils
  1. Once the green jello has set, carefully place gummy eyeballs or grapes into each shot glass.
Finish with Red
  1. Slowly pour the red jello mixture over the top, filling the glasses to the rim.
  2. Refrigerate again until completely set, typically 3-4 hours.
Serve
  1. Once set, serve your spooky creations at your Halloween celebration.

Notes

Store in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container. Allow to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for easier removal from the cups.
