Ingredients
  

For the Tortillas
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup water Gradually add water until a dough forms.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef Cooked until browned.
  • 1 tsp cumin Add to beef after cooking for flavor.
  • 1 tsp chili powder Add to beef after cooking for flavor.
Optional Toppings
  • lettuce Shredded, for topping.
  • cheese Shredded, for topping.
  • salsa For topping.

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned. Stir occasionally to ensure it cooks evenly.
  2. Once cooked, drain any excess fat and add cumin and chili powder to the beef. Stir well to combine, then remove the skillet from the heat.
Preparing the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add olive oil and gradually pour in water. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic. Divide it into equal portions and roll each into a ball.
Cooking the Tortillas
  1. Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a tortilla shape.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each tortilla for about 1 minute on each side, until lightly golden and puffed.
Assembling the Wraps
  1. Fill each tortilla with the seasoned beef and your favorite toppings like lettuce, cheese, and salsa.
  2. Roll them up tightly.
