#### **Step 1: Cook the Ground Beef**
Heat a **large skillet** over medium heat. Add the **ground beef and onion**, cooking until the beef is browned and the onion is soft (**about 5-7 minutes**). Drain excess grease. Cover the casserole with foil and **bake for 20 minutes**. Remove the foil and bake for an additional **10 minutes** until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it sit for **5 minutes** before slicing. Garnish with **chopped cilantro** and serve warm with **sour cream, guacamole, or salsa**.
