  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for grilling
  • 1 medium bell pepper sliced
  • 1 medium zucchini sliced
  • 1 large carrot julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce ensure it's halal-certified
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes optional for heat
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Preparation
  1. Start by preheating your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the pre-cooked udon noodles, sliced vegetables, and minced garlic.
  3. Drizzle in the vegetable oil, followed by the soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together until well coated.
Grilling
  1. Spread the noodle mixture onto the grates of the hot grill.
  2. Allow them to cook for about 5-7 minutes, tossing occasionally to ensure even grilling.
  3. If you like a touch of spice, sprinkle the chili flakes over the noodles during the last minute of cooking.
Serving
  1. Once grilled to perfection, remove the noodles from the grill.
  2. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds.

Notes

Substitutes: Feel free to swap out the vegetables for whatever you have on hand. Timing is key, so keep an eye on your noodles while they grill to avoid burning. If noodles are sticky, rinse them with cold water before grilling. Grill vegetables separately for more texture.
