Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and rub each fillet with olive oil.
  3. Season generously with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
Grilling
  1. Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill and grill for about 5-6 minutes without moving it.
  2. Carefully flip the salmon fillets and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  3. Add lemon slices on top during the final minutes for extra flavor.
Serving
  1. Remove the salmon from the grill, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately with your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in olive oil, lemon juice, and herbs for about 30 minutes before grilling. Avoid overcooking to keep the salmon tender. Grilled leftovers can be used in salads or pasta.
