Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich
  • 8 oz Beef Steak - Choose your favorite cut (Halal-certified, of course!)
  • 2 pieces Bread (Ciabatta or your choice)
  • 1 cup Lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 medium Tomato (sliced)
  • 1 small Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 slices Cheese (optional, choose your favorite type)
For the Creamy Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sour Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
  2. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the beef steak with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Grill the beef for 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing it thinly.
  2. While the steak is resting, lightly toast the ciabatta bread on the grill for about a minute on each side.
Assembly
  1. Spread a generous amount of the creamy dressing on one side of the bread. Layer the grilled beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese if using. Top with the other slice of bread.
Serving
  1. Slice the sandwich in half and serve it with your favorite sides.

Notes

Store leftover components separately in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat the beef in a skillet and toast the bread for an extra crunch.
