Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (halal-certified)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
For the Beef
  • 2 lbs beef steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice) Choose higher-quality cuts for more juiciness.

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and onion powder until well combined.
  2. Place the beef steaks in a large dish or zip-lock bag. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 15-20 minutes or overnight for a richer taste.
Grilling
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  2. Once the grill is ready, place the marinated steaks directly onto the grill grates. Cook for 6-8 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.
  3. Remove from the grill and let the steaks rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Choose high-quality meat for better flavor, and avoid overcooking by using a meat thermometer. Turn the steaks 90 degrees halfway for perfect grill marks.
