  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Mince finely for even flavor distribution.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Adds creaminess to the sauce.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream Enhances the creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Fresh lime juice is recommended for best flavor.
  • to taste salt Add salt according to your taste preference.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by rinsing the cilantro and removing the seeds from the jalapeño peppers if you prefer a milder flavor.
  2. Mince the garlic finely.
Blending
  1. In a blender or food processor, combine the cilantro, jalapeño peppers, and minced garlic. Pulse a few times until they are finely chopped.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, and salt to the food processor. Blend on high until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
Adjusting Flavor
  1. Taste your sauce! If it needs more tang, add a dash of lime juice and blend again. If it’s too spicy, a little more mayonnaise or sour cream can help dial it down.
Serving
  1. Transfer the sauce to a bowl and serve immediately, or store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for later use.

Notes

Store the sauce in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for a month. Let it sit for about an hour before serving to meld flavors. Avoid over-processing for a better texture.
