Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully shuck the oysters, keeping them on their half shells. Place them on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Spoon a generous amount of the breadcrumb mixture onto each oyster.
Baking
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the topping turns a lovely golden brown.
Serving
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, use the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes. Do not freeze as it may affect texture.
