Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure a crisp exterior on your rolls.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free whole grain flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the water or almond milk, olive oil, and honey (if using). Stir until well blended.
- Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring with a spoon until a soft dough forms. The dough should be moist but workable.
- Lightly flour your hands and scoop out portions of dough to form 8-10 small balls. Space them out on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Place the rolls in the oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown on top.
- Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Store any leftover rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the rolls for up to a month and reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
