Method
Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
- Lightly flour your work surface with some extra gluten-free flour. Knead the dough gently for about 2 minutes until smooth.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, about 1/4-inch thick.
Adding Filling and Baking
- Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together. Spread the mixture evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice the roll into 12 equal pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish and cover with a cloth. Let rise for 30-45 minutes. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) during this time.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Frosting
- Mix your favorite cream cheese frosting ingredients and spread atop warm rolls.
