- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, eggnog, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are fine!
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it to cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and eggnog to achieve your desired glaze consistency.
- Drizzle the glaze over the cooled bread and let it set before slicing.
Notes
Store wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminum foil for 2-3 days at room temperature, or freeze for up to 3 months. Allow to thaw and reheat slices for 10-15 seconds in the microwave.
