Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a floured surface, roll out your pastry dough into a large rectangle, about 1/8 inch thick.
- Carefully transfer the rolled-out dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and trim the edges.
- Spoon the strawberry filling onto one half of the dough, spreading it evenly but leaving about an inch around the edges.
- Gently fold over the other half of the dough and press the edges together to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
Baking
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown.
Frosting and Serving
- While the giant pop tart is cooling, mix the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.
- Pour the frosting over the cooled pop tart and finish with a sprinkle of strawberry sprinkles.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
If you want to try different flavors, you can substitute the strawberry filling with other fruit fillings like raspberry or blueberry. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
