Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place your chicken breasts on a cutting board. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure a good sear. Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, thyme, paprika, olive oil, salt, and pepper. This mixture will create a delicious, crispy coating.
  4. Dip each piece of chicken in the coating mixture, ensuring all sides are well covered. Gently press the coating into the chicken for maximum flavor.
Cooking
  1. Lay the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown.
  3. Once baked, remove the chicken from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve it hot and watch it disappear!

Notes

If you're out of Parmesan, you can substitute it with other hard cheeses like Pecorino Romano or Grana Padano. Keep an eye on the chicken in the final minutes of baking to prevent burning. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
