  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Cooking Steps
  1. Fill a large pot with water and add a pinch of salt. Bring it to a boil, then add the gnocchi. Cook according to package instructions until they float to the surface, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the diced chicken. Season with salt and pepper, cooking until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked (about 6-8 minutes). Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it!
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, then sprinkle in the Italian seasoning. Let it simmer for about 4-5 minutes to thicken slightly.
  5. Add the cooked gnocchi and chicken back into the skillet. Stir everything gently until well combined and heated through.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, warm it on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of chicken broth or cream. You can freeze it for up to 3 months.
