- Rinse and pat dry the shrimp, then season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until bubbling but not browned.
Cooking
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not burnt.
- Add the seasoned shrimp to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until pink, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
- Once shrimp is fully cooked, remove from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes, if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
Don't overcook the shrimp; 3-5 minutes is all you need. Fresh ingredients enhance flavor; use fresh garlic and parsley for best results. Customize with red pepper flakes for heat or sautéed bell peppers for color.
