  • 1.5 lbs beef sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces Use tender cuts for best results.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Add more for extra flavor if desired.

For the Creamy Mashed Potatoes
  • 2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and quartered Yukon gold can also work.
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Method
 

Preparing the Potatoes
  1. Begin by boiling the quartered potatoes in salted water for about 15-20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain the water and set them aside.
Cooking the Beef Bites
  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the bite-sized beef pieces, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sear the beef until browned, approximately 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove the beef and set it aside.
Making the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Return the beef to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic butter to coat.
Completing the Mashed Potatoes
  1. While the beef is cooking, mash the drained potatoes with milk, butter, salt, and pepper until creamy and smooth.
Serving
  1. Plate the creamy mashed potatoes and top them with the garlic butter beef bites. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy!
