  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows Use fresh marshmallows for best results
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted
  • ½ cup colorful sprinkles Or your favorite toppings
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract Optional for flavor

Preparation
  1. Begin by greasing a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  2. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter completely.
  3. Once the butter is melted, add in the mini marshmallows. Stir continuously until they are fully melted and creamy.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and fold in the Rice Krispies cereal along with the vanilla extract, stirring until the cereal is evenly coated.
  5. With greased hands, press the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle colorful toppings on top, pressing lightly to help them stick.
  6. Allow the mixture to cool for about 30 minutes. Once set, cut into bite-sized squares or use festive cookie cutters to create fun shapes.
  7. Place your Christmas Rice Krispie Treat Bites on a decorative platter and share the joy with family and friends!

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days. For longer storage, wrap each treat individually and freeze for up to 2 months.
