Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract one by one until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until blended.
- Fold in the chopped strawberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter!).
- Allow cooling in the pan for 10-15 minutes before removing and cutting into squares. Top with additional strawberries if desired!
Notes
For a special twist, pair these brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. They also pair beautifully with cold milk or a warm cup of coffee. Don’t overmix the batter, and use room temperature eggs for best texture. You can substitute fresh strawberries with frozen ones if it's off-season.
