Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts until evenly distributed in the dough.
- Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded scoops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set (the centers will look slightly soft).
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For perfect cookies, use melted butter and don’t overmix the dough. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
