  • 2 pieces apples, diced Choose firm apples for crunch.
  • 2 pieces bananas, sliced Add just before serving to avoid browning.
  • 1 cup grapes, halved Wash thoroughly before use.
  • 2 pieces oranges, segmented Use fresh oranges for best flavor.
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and quartered Choose ripe strawberries for sweetness.
  • 2 pieces kiwis, peeled and sliced Ensure kiwis are ripe for maximum flavor.
Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust based on sweetness preference.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Essential to prevent browning.

Preparation
  1. Wash all the fruits thoroughly and peel any necessary fruits like apples and kiwis.
  2. Dice the apples, slice the bananas, halve the grapes, segment the oranges, hull and quarter the strawberries, and finally, slice the kiwis.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, gently toss together all the chopped fruits.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the honey with the lemon juice.
  3. Drizzle the honey-lemon mixture over the fruits, gently tossing to coat everything evenly.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately for the best freshness, or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes to chill before serving.

Notes

For substitutions, use seasonal fruits like peaches, pineapples, or berries. Make the salad right before serving to avoid browning and mushiness.
