  • 2 pieces apples, diced Any variety of apples can be used.
  • 2 pieces bananas, sliced Use ripe bananas for sweetness.
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Fresh or frozen mixed berries can be used.
  • 1 piece orange, segmented Segmentation helps in making it easier to eat.
  • 1 cup grapes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional) Sweeten to taste; substitute with maple syrup for a different flavor.
  • 1 piece Juice of 1 lemon Adds brightness and prevents browning of fruits.
  • to taste Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional) Adds a refreshing touch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by washing all the fruits thoroughly under cold water. Peel and chop the apples and bananas into bite-sized pieces. Halve the grapes and segment the orange.
Mixing
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared fruits: apples, bananas, mixed berries, orange segments, and halved grapes.
Flavor and Garnish
  1. Drizzle honey or maple syrup over the mixed fruits and squeeze the lemon juice over the entire bowl to brighten the flavors.
  2. Optional: Toss in fresh mint leaves for added freshness.
Serve
  1. Gently toss all the ingredients together to ensure even coating. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Notes

For the best taste and texture, prepare the fruit salad no more than a few hours before serving. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Avoid freezing as it changes the fruits’ texture.
