  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter or oil for cooking For greasing the waffle maker
  • Maple syrup for serving Or other toppings of choice

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your waffle maker according to the manufacturer's directions.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Take a slice of bread and dip it into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated. Allow excess batter to drip off.
Cooking
  1. Lightly grease the preheated waffle maker with butter or oil.
  2. Place the dipped bread on the waffle maker and close the lid. Cook until golden brown and crisp, around 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Carefully remove the waffle and repeat with the remaining slices.
  4. Serve warm with maple syrup or your favorite toppings.

Notes

For best results, ensure the waffle maker is preheated. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for 2 months. Reheat in a toaster or waffle maker for optimal texture.
