Ingredients

For the lemonade
  • 1 cup flower tea (hibiscus or chamomile brew)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed for best flavor)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 3 cups water
  • to taste Ice cubes
  • as needed Lemon slices (for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by boiling 3 cups of water. Once boiling, add your flower tea (hibiscus or chamomile) and let it steep for about 5-7 minutes.
  2. After steeping, strain the tea into a large pitcher. Add the fresh lemon juice and sugar to the brewed tea. Stir well until the sugar completely dissolves.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. When ready to serve, fill a glass with ice and pour the chilled Flower Tea Lemonade over it. Garnish with lemon slices for a beautiful presentation!

Notes

For a lower sugar option, try using honey or maple syrup instead of sugar. Allow the mixture to cool before serving to prevent dilution. Flower Tea Lemonade can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
