- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then add the vanilla extract.

Notes
For a richer flavor, substitute half the granulated sugar with brown sugar. To elevate the dish, try adding different extracts or include nuts or chocolate chips before baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
