Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound Steak Choose your favorite cut (e.g., ribeye, sirloin)
  • 2 medium Zucchini Sliced into rounds or half-moons
  • 4 tablespoons Butter Unsalted, for a rich flavor
  • 4 cloves Garlic Minced, to pack in that punch of flavor
  • to taste Salt Enhances the flavor of your steak and veggies
  • to taste Black pepper For added warmth
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Helps in searing the steak perfectly
  • Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Ensure your steak is at room temperature for even cooking.
  2. Generously season both sides of the steak with salt and black pepper.
Cooking the Steak
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Once it’s shimmering, add the steak.
  2. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until your desired doneness is achieved. Remove from the pan and let it rest on a plate, covered with foil.
Cooking the Zucchini
  1. In the same skillet, add the zucchini slices. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they’re tender and have a slight golden color.
Making Garlic Butter
  1. Lower the heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic to the pan with the zucchini. Stir frequently for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
Combine and Serve
  1. Slice the rested steak and return it to the skillet, tossing gently with the zucchini and garlic butter for an extra moment to combine flavors.
  2. Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired, serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

Choose quality meat for best flavor. Adjust cooking time based on desired doneness and consider substituting zucchini with seasonal vegetables for variety.
