Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Stir well until evenly mixed.
- Create a well in the center of the flour mixture, then add 3/4 cup of warm water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 3-4 minutes, just until the dough is smooth.
- Form your dough into a round shape that will easily fit into your air fryer basket.
- Set your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and preheat for about 3-5 minutes.
- Place the dough in the air fryer basket and cook for 15-20 minutes, checking for a golden-brown crust. You’ll know it’s done when it sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- Carefully remove the bread and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing into delightful pieces.
Notes
To keep your bread fresh, store it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. For longer storage, consider freezing it for up to three months. Reheat slices in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
