- Wash the mixed greens thoroughly under cool running water and pat dry.
- Remove the green tops from the strawberries and slice them thinly.
- Optional: Toast the sliced almonds in a small pan over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
Assembly
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, sliced strawberries, and sliced almonds. Gently toss together.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta over the salad and drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the salad gently once more to incorporate the dressing and cheese. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for 1-2 days but keep dressing separate to maintain crispiness. Do not freeze.
