  • 8 oz noodles (spaghetti or rice noodles) Choose based on preference.
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Maple syrup for vegan option.
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili sauce Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Use fresh for best flavor.
Garnishes
  • 1 stalk green onion, sliced For garnish.
  • 1 tablespoon chopped peanuts For garnish.

Method
 

Cooking the Noodles
  1. In a large pot of boiling water, cook the noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, sriracha, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Mix well until you achieve a smooth consistency.
Combining the Noodles and Sauce
  1. In the pot where you cooked the noodles, add the drained noodles back in. Pour the peanut sauce over the noodles, tossing to coat evenly. Make sure each noodle is coated in that delicious sauce!
Garnishing and Serving
  1. Transfer the noodles to a serving dish and sprinkle sliced green onions and chopped peanuts on top for that extra crunch. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a quicker meal, prepare the sauce ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator. Reheat noodles with a splash of water if too dry.
