Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove any outer leaves from the cabbage and cut it into thick slices, about 1 inch wide.
- Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over them and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add garlic powder or paprika if desired.
Roasting
- Roast the cabbage steaks in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden-brown.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately. Optionally garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon.
Notes
For best results, do not overcrowd the baking sheet to ensure crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
