Preparation
- Wash the strawberries under cool water, remove the stems and hulls, and chop them into smaller pieces for easy blending.
- In a blender, combine the chopped strawberries and sugar. Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting sweetness to taste.
- Pour in the milk and vanilla extract into the blender and blend again until well mixed.
- Pour the strawberry milk into glasses and add ice cubes if desired.
- Optionally, garnish with whipped cream or crushed strawberries.
Notes
Best served fresh. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days in an airtight container. Shake well before serving again. Avoid freezing to maintain texture.
