  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled Ensure they are ripe for best sweetness.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste) Honey or agave syrup can be used as alternatives.
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy) Choose your preferred type.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds extra flavor.

Preparation
  1. Wash the strawberries under cool water, remove the stems and hulls, and chop them into smaller pieces for easy blending.
  2. In a blender, combine the chopped strawberries and sugar. Blend until smooth and creamy, adjusting sweetness to taste.
  3. Pour in the milk and vanilla extract into the blender and blend again until well mixed.
  4. Pour the strawberry milk into glasses and add ice cubes if desired.
  5. Optionally, garnish with whipped cream or crushed strawberries.

Notes

Best served fresh. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days in an airtight container. Shake well before serving again. Avoid freezing to maintain texture.
