Preparation
- In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter with graham cracker crumbs until combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form a crust. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Fold in half of the whipped topping until combined. Spread this layer evenly over the crust in the dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, vanilla pudding mix, pumpkin pie spice, and milk. Stir until smooth. Then, fold in the remaining whipped topping. Spread this layer over the cream cheese layer.
- To finish, sprinkle additional pumpkin pie spice or nuts on top for an added crunch if desired. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Once it’s set, slice, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
For a dietary-friendly option, consider using low-fat cream cheese and whipped topping. Ensure your cream cheese is softened to prevent lumps in the mixture. This dessert is best enjoyed chilled and lasts up to 4 days in the refrigerator.
