  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Used for tossing the potato sticks.
  • Salt To taste.
  • Pepper To taste.
  • Optional seasonings (like garlic powder, paprika, or cumin) Customize to your taste.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the potatoes thoroughly under cold water. Peel them and cut into ½-inch thick sticks.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato sticks with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings you desire. Ensure each stick is evenly coated.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Spread the potato sticks in a single layer and avoid overcrowding.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through cooking.
  2. Once ready, remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a health-boosting twist, feel free to use sweet potatoes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. To reheat, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10-15 minutes to regain crispiness.
