  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and slice the zucchinis into stick-like shapes, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.
  4. Dip each zucchini stick into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Lightly spray the coated zucchinis with olive oil.
Baking
  1. Bake the coated zucchinis in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving hot, preferably with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a Halal-friendly option, substitute Parmesan cheese with mozzarella or cheddar. Check the fries at the 20-minute mark as oven temperatures may vary.
