Ingredients
  

  • - 4 ripe peaches sliced
  • - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • - 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey/maple syrup
  • - 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • - Pinch of salt
  • - Optional toppings: whipped cream ice cream, or granola

Instructions
 

  • **Prepare the Peaches**
  • Wash and slice the peaches into wedges, removing the pits. No need to peel unless preferred.
  • **Heat the Butter**
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to bubble.
  • **Caramelize the Peaches**
  • Add the sliced peaches to the pan and sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir to coat evenly.
  • **Cook Until Golden**
  • Sauté for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the peaches soften and develop a golden caramelized glaze. If using vanilla extract, stir it in during the last minute of cooking.
