- In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in a shallow dish. Pour half of the marinade over the salmon and let it marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets, skin side down.
- Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip each fillet. Pour the remaining marinade over the top and let it cook for another 4-5 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Once done, remove the skillet from heat and let the salmon rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.
Notes
Avoid overcooking the salmon; aim for a slightly translucent center. You can customize the sweetness and saltiness of the glaze. For crispy skin, press the salmon gently into the skillet to sear.
